We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization.

Who Can Join?

1. Full membership of the Association is open to Gunners of any rank who are serving, or who have served, in any Headquarters or Unit of the Royal Artillery or in the Artillery of a Commenwealth Country.   In addition, wives and husbands married to their spouses during their service with the Royal Artillery (Gunner cap-badged) and wives and husbands that are presently married to members of the Royal Artillery Association can join as full members and are entitled to hold "Office" in their Branch if so elected.  Members of other Corps/Regiments who have served on the posted strength of any Headquarters or Unit of the Royal Artillery may apply for full membership. 

Serving Gunners who subscribe to the Royal Artillery Charitable Fund, as virtually all do, are full members of the Association whilst they are serving; they are know as 'Serving Members'

Full members may choose to be either Annual or Life members of the Association.

2. Associate membership of the Association is open to members and ex-members of the British Armed Force or any civilian who has Gunner interests at heart.

3. Honorary membership of the Association is soley reserved for local dignitaries and benefactors.

Benefits of Joining

For a serving Gunner, the Branch can provide support during the difficult transition period into civilian life and thereafter, the friendship of a caring and sociable group of people who understand his or her problems and will do their best to help solve them.

For ex-Gunners and their families and friends, the Branch provides a focus for social activities and practical assistance if it is needed.

To join you need to complete an application form and submit this together with your Life Membership fee to the Membership Clerk at the Artillery Centre, Larkhill.
